Samara Stewart
Squash Coach, England

Samara is a highly qualified coach, holding a Level 3 England Squash Coaching accreditation. With over two decades of coaching experience, she has worked extensively with juniors and adults, both in schools and clubs across the UK. In recognition of her expertise and leadership, she was recently appointed as a Coach Developer with England Squash, supporting the training and mentoring of other coaches.

Raised in Kenya, Samara began playing squash at the age of nine. Her early passion for the sport saw her represent both her school and Kenya in various tournaments before continuing her competitive journey at the University of Southampton in the UK.

She later joined the Royal Air Force, where she dominated the sport for nearly a decade, becoming the RAF Ladies Champion for nine consecutive years and winning the Combined Services Individual Championships. Beyond competition, she served on the RAF Squash Rackets Association Committee and led an international Ladies Squash Tour of Kenya in 1998.

Since 2021, Samara has played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the Savannah Association, supporting its programmes with equipment, expertise, and training. In August 2025, she spearheaded a three-day squash training camp with the Kiboko Stars at Naivasha Sports Club, further demonstrating her commitment to developing the next generation of players and growing the sport.
