Kikanu Doreen serves as the Legal Manager at Savannah Association, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children in Kenyan communities through sports, with a special focus on squash. She is a licensed Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Uganda, and a seasoned legal practitioner in East Africa, bringing extensive cross-border advisory and litigation experience across corporate law, commercial disputes, governance, and human rights practice.
Doreen holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Makerere University, a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (UK), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Her journey with Savannah began in 2019 when she joined as a squash player under the mentorship of Mr. Leon Keya. Transitioning from player to professional, she embodies the values of discipline and resilience she now helps instill in children. Beyond her legal role, Doreen is passionate about using sports as a vehicle for social transformation, equipping children with life skills that extend far beyond the game.
